METEOR Project - Methodologies for Teamworking in Eco-Outwards Research

The METEOR project, starting December 1, 2024, is a transformative EU-funded initiative aimed at reshaping doctoral education and fostering the skills necessary to address global societal challenges.

Over the course of three years, METEOR will equip doctoral candidates and early-career researchers with essential transversal skills, including teamwork, communication, intercultural competence, and entrepreneurship.

Coordinated by CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research Poland – METEOR unites 13 international partners, including leading universities, research institutes, and training providers from Poland, Norway, Denmark, Finland, the United Kingdom, Italy, Cyprus, Spain, Austria, Georgia, Türkiye, and Brazil.

The programme is designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, with participants forming teams to develop innovative research proposals aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Core activities include the development of cutting-edge online training resources, peer mentoring groups, and two rounds of summer schools.

By focusing on societal impact and aligning with the philosophy of “Eco-Outwards” research, METEOR aims to shape policy, enhance employability, and promote mental well-being among researchers.

With a strong emphasis on sustainability and long-term impact, METEOR aspires to leave a lasting legacy by influencing institutional and governmental policies and creating a global network of innovative researchers.
